Privacy & SMS Policy
At Accel Legal Consulting LLC, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our candidates, clients, and contacts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you interact with us. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you consent to the practices described in this policy. We comply with applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) guidelines, and carrier requirements for business messaging.
1. Information We Collect
When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Accel Legal Consulting LLC, we may collect your mobile phone number or your name and contact details (if provided during opt-in or interactions whereby you provide this). We do not collect sensitive personal information.
2. How We Collect Your Information
We collect SMS-related information directly from you when (i) you provide your phone number via our website forms, job application portals, email sign-ups, or in-person events (e.g., career fairs); or (ii) you text us first to initiate contact (e.g., replying to a job posting, as a follow up to a phone conversation)
3. How We Use SMS
We use your information to send relevant, time-sensitive communications, including: (i) transactional messages: Job application confirmations, interview scheduling/reminders, offer updates, or next-step guidance in your recruitment process; or (ii) service-related messages: Alerts about new opportunities matching your profile or feedback requests post-interview
All messages will clearly identify Accel Legal Consulting LLC as the sender and provide the ability for you to opt-out of receiving further messages. Any references to third-party job boards in our communications are for informational purposes only (e.g., suggesting resources for your job search) and do not constitute promotions or endorsements. We do not use SMS to solicit or drive traffic to third-party sites.
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Accel Legal Consulting. This includes SMS messages for transactional messages or service-related messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Message HELP for help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
4. Consent and Opt-In
Under the TCPA, we require prior express written consent before sending any marketing or non-emergency SMS. To opt in you provide consent in our initial communications and initiate any text messaging with Accel Legal Consulting. Accel Legal Consulting will never message you first.
5. Opt-Out and Your Choices
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message (you will receive a confirmation text) or contacting us at our business phone number or email. Once opted out, you will not receive further non-emergency messages, though we may send a single confirmation. To opt back in, follow the process in Section 4.
6. Sharing Your Information
Accel Legal does not sell your SMS data or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information only as necessary to provide our services, such as (i) with trusted SMS providers (e.g., RingCentral) to deliver messages; (ii) with recruiting partners (e.g., client employers) for job placement, but only with your explicit consent and under strict confidentiality agreements; or (iii) as required by law (e.g., subpoenas) or to protect our rights. Any mention of third-party job boards on our website or in communications does not involve data sharing; it is solely for candidate resource guidance.
